Jessica Lanice Chalmers is the founder of Tha L. Spot Ent. & P.R. LLC, which consists of media website Thalspot.com, and entertainment and public relations company catered to independent industries. With her experience in managing and training new employees at a multi-million dollar company, Cold Stone Creamery in Times Square, then taking her experience to Bath and Body Works at the South Street Seaport as a Temporary Sales Manager, and helping run small business The Nail Boutique in Brooklyn, Jessica has the skills and the training of running a business and increasing sales from a large to small-sized business and uses these skills for her own company and clients.
Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations from Hofstra University and was a member of PRSSA. She had interned for one of the top PR companies NYC, 5WPR. She decided to create her own business because she wanted to help independent artists gain the exposure they deserve and at affordable rates! Within the past 4 years, she has done public relations for singer, Diomara Delvalle; gospel jazz fusion band, U4ouria; film production company, BxC Studios; singer, Odiseas Georgiadias; film, Spit Boys; Nippy Lavern Fashions; Ladies Play Thursdays @ Play Lounge; and BxC Studios’ “Searching Hope Springs” film. She is currently working with hip-hop artist, SaeItAintSo, rapper Cameron Jay, female hip-hop duo, Porsha & Mercedes, and radio personality/DJ, Ejay The DJ of Wire Radio 247.
Jessica Lanice C. is continuously expanding her brand and is looking for more ways to help independent businesses, artists and community servants to gain the exposure they need. She has a passion for journalism and public relations, and looks forward for what the future has to bring.

Camille J. Cruz is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. With her interest in media communications and love for technology, her goal is to be the next “Voice of New York” and someday produce her own radio show. She has been a part of numerous programs/organizations such as being a radio personality for 88.7fm WRHU, President of Imani Dance Ensemble, and a member of the Hofstra University’s Association of Black Journalists. She has contributed to Black Dance Magazine, HerCampus.com, and the Black Ink Newsletter and is also a dance instructor at Danse Xpressions in Valley Stream. Camille has joined Tha L. Spot team because she felt this was an excellent outlet for involvement with entertainment journalism. Tha L. Spot has given Camille great experiences in the broadcast and entertainment field, and she is thankful for these opportunities. These opportunities has lead her to write for AllHipHop.com and Sway’s Universe.
