Miguel, BJ The Chicago Kid and more Scheduled for The Northside Festival

Every June, Brooklyn transforms into an oasis of culture, trends, art and innovation for the Northside Festival. With over 300 performances and over 150 speakers scheduled, its always been a place for people to experience things “first.”

This urban festival fuses technology, music, art, and information together and spreads the culture across all of North Brooklyn.  Rather than your traditional summer festival, The Northside Festival encompasses tons of venues and locations from parks to small clubs to galleries, allowing for almost any place to be a place of discovery and enjoyment for all.

This year, artists Miguel and Bj The Chicago Kid will be performing on Saturday June 10th at McCarren Park in Brooklyn.  Hip Hop content producer Elliot Wilson and SNL’s Sasheer Zamata are just a few of the many brilliant speakers to be sharing knowledge at the festival.

The festival concludes with a Free Block Party on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg on June 10th and 11th. The blocks will be filled with music performances, art installations and interactive stations from Metropolitan Ave to North 12th Street.

So if you are looking for something to do, this seems like the perfect thing for summer.  Tickets are still available at http://northsidefestival.com/northside-2017/block-party/.
