According to techcrunch.com, Twitter and Live Nation partnered together to create a new user experience on your timeline. Tweeters will now be able to watch concerts live from Live Nation’s upcoming concerts such as Train, Portugal The Man, August Alsina, and Marian Hill. But, this weekend, Zac Brown live band’s performance will be the first to live stream on twitter on Saturday, May 13th.
Tweeters can watch and tweet all in one place.
“Our partnership with Twitter allows us to amplify the live music experience creating a tool for artists to reach millions of fans around the world” says Jordan Zachary, Chief Strategy Officer for Live Nation. “Through Twitter’s product suite, fans will be able to be immersed in the live experience and interact with each other in real time as they watch some of the year’s most exciting concert events.”
Aside from Twitter announcing its partnership with Live Nation, this new user experience will have live premium video content that will include the MTV Award Shows and coverage of Fashion Week in New York, London, Paris and Milan. It will also produce and host a 24/7 streaming news network with Bloomberg that will start in the Fall of 2017.
Stay tuned for this new experience on Twitter!
