“Benny and Chris” Movie Premiere Sells Out in Times Square

Harlem native, and self made Film Director, Shanice Parker packed out the Magno Theatre in NYC for the premiere of her debut film, Benny and Chris.  Benny and Chris is a short film that tells the story of a female hustler’s journey through life after the loss of her father.
During the event Ms.Parker was interviewed by Celebrity Journalist, Maurita Salkey. She took the audience along her journey of starting her own company, Billz Productions in October of 2014 to directing and selling out her first movie in December of 2016.  She took the hearts of many as she shared her story of how she pursued her dreams and encouraged the rest of the audience to do the same.
