We live in a world where many of us are obsessed with our phones. Every where you turn, you see someone with their device in hand typing away. They are either browsing the web, on social media or engaged in a text conversation. We no longer have to pick up the phone to speak to someone. You can simply message them on the many platforms available to us for communication such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, SMS, and iMessage . We have evolved greatly with our messaging techniques as more innovative ways are created to get your thoughts together. There are Emojis, Gifs, Expressors and now a new favorite Bitmojis.
Emojis, Gifs, and Expressors are all emoticons that exist in various genres. They are all used to illustrate our feelings and reactions. Emojis are mostly used to express facial expressions, common objects, places, animals, and types of weather. While Gifs and Expressors are used to demonstrate situations using images and animations from trending topics, people, and shows.
But the newest addition to the game are Bitmojis!
Bitmojis have all the same uses as Emojis, Gifs, and Expressors; the only difference is that YOU are the face behind all the expressions. Yes, YOU! You create your own personal animation of yourself. It’s pretty interesting how you can create the almost exact replica of yourself but as a character. Sounds really cool!
Using Bitmojis, you may feel like Lizzie McGuire when she had her own cartoon version of herself during her soliloquies in her show. She used “her bitmoji” when she would demonstrate her actions or the things going on in her head. Some Celebrities have created their own Bitmojis like Kim Kardashian with her “Kimojis” and Kevin Hart with his “Kev Moji”. It’s so amazing the different styles and options there are in making your own impersonation of yourself. After creating your character it can be used with various expressions, actions and moods according to your conversation.
Bitmojis are incredibly fun to use especially on Snapchat as it allows you to have access to your friend’s avatar stickers allowing you to create Friendmojis.
As time goes on, we get to enjoy the many creative ways given to us for fun cool communication with others. Personally, I was late on creating my own Bitmoji and as soon as I made mine I became totally obsessed! I thought to myself what took me so long?! Don’t be that person and make your Bitmoji now if you haven’t already.
Here’s a tutorial on how to create your own personal Bitmoji!!
