MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMA) makes its way back to NYC at Madison Square Garden. The VMAs is always filled with amazing performances and showing recognition to those who worked hard creating appealing visuals for their fans. At this year’s VMAs it has been confirmed that Britney Spears and Nick Jonas will be performing at the award show. However, everyone is buzzing about the nominations for the “Video of the Year” award and I think this one is intense. Beyonce has been nominated for 11 awards, which includes “Video of the Year” for her HBO debut album “Lemonade”. Not too far behind Beyonce, Adele has been nominated for 8 awards, which includes “Video of the Year” for her song “Hello”. Within this category, there are nominations for Drake’s “Hotline Bling”, Justin Beiber’s “Sorry” and Kanye West’s “Famous”. These songs were all hits for 2015-2016 but who had the most appealing video? Who do you think will take the win?
We are excited to see this year’s VMA’s this Sunday, August 28th at 9pm but in the meantime take a look at the full list of nominees for each category: http://www.mtv.com/news/2910443/2016-vma-nominations/!
